How to Receive Freight

The shipping company is only contracted to bring the shipment to the back of the truck. In certain cases you may be able to have other options available to you, however, these are extra services and you will be billed directly by the shipping company.

DO NOT SIGN THE DELIVERY RECEIPT UNTIL YOU:

a) Count the number of cartons and verify that you have the correct number.

b) Inspect the cartons carefully for any kind of rips, tears, punctures, dents, crushed corners, wetness or any other signs of possible damage. If you sense that there is any kind of freight damage, OPEN THE CARTONS WHILE THE DRIVER IS PRESENT AND INSPECT THE GOODS.

c) If you see or feel that the furniture is in good condition then sign the delivery receipt as is. If you feel that there is any kind of freight damage or you are unable to open the cartons, but see that the cartons are not in perfect condition, then note all visible details on the delivery receipt BEFORE SIGNING IT. We cannot make a claim for damage unless you note all damage and problems with packaging on the delivery receipt. Failure to adhere to this requirement may forfeit your right to a replacement piece or refund.

d) If upon opening your merchandise, you note damage merchandise, you must KEEP THE OUTER CARTON(S) for the inspection and claim process. Failure to adhere to this requirement may forfeit your right to a replacement piece or refund.

e) If a shipment is in very poor condition, then you have the option of refusing the entire shipment or part of the shipment.

f) If you receive any damaged merchandise, are unsure whether to accept the shipment, or have any other questions, then please call us at 1-877-372-Baby (2229) immediately for assistance.

Most furniture requires some assembly. Please read instructions carefully before assembling your furniture.

In the event you must return an item, remember to keep all packaging with the piece. Repackaging the product properly in the event of a return is important. Please call for details to ensure the package has been repackaged properly in order that it does not sustain further damage on the return trip.
