It was a bright and sunny day in Southern California where first time parent/ designer/co-founder of Babysoy thought shopping for a newborn baby should be more easy, fun, and aesthetically pleasing. On the same bright day, her life-long friend approached her with a beautifully soft sample of soybean fiber and asked how she would like to dress her baby in it. Together, the two friends who are design-conscious and environmentally-aware decided to start babysoy to benefit the new generation of design-savvy-earth-friendly expecting parents and their babies. Soybean fiber is a sustainable textile fiber made from renewable natural resources. It is part of an effort moving consumers away from petrochemical textile products and turning waste into useful products.
